On my way home this evening I finished listening to the Silmarillion. It was definitely an amazing experience. I'm sure it might not have been quite as good if I hadn't read the book before. I love rereading books, it is like rediscovering old friends. And this time it was like seeing that old friend in a completely new way.~Matt
