I timed my trip home today. The total route took me a few minutes under one half hour. This was a considerable improvement over yesterday! It was even much better than this morning when the highest speed I achieved on the interstate was 35-40 mph because of the snow that was still present. However, by this afternoon every road that I saw was clear--even those that still had had substantial snow that morning.
The particularly heartbreaking stretch yesterday between exits 3 and 1G took me over two hours to traverse. Today? 1:47. That is one minute! and forty-seven seconds! :-)
