As Frodo and Sam came upon Bilbo the older two were very excited.
6YO: “BILBO?!? 
I thought you said his journeying was done.”
I thought you said his journeying was done.”8YO: “Gandalf said Bilbo had one last journey to make.”
I’ve also attached a picture the eight year old drew of Frodo and Sam meeting up with Galadriel, Bilbo, and Elrond.
Tomorrow because the kids are begging for more and were very sad when I said there were not any stories set in the future of Middle-earth we’re going to go back to the beginning and will start reading The Silmarillion.
