As I read about Faramir talking about his love for Éowyn I realized that someone wasn’t listening.
6YO: *plugs ears*
8YO: “Don’t plug your ears!”
6YO: “I don’t want to hear any kissing!”
Then as soon as Faramir kisses Éowyn I heard a loud disturbance.
6YO: “EWWWWWW!!!! Daddy!!”
8YO: *gleeful* “Will there be a wedding?” *squee* “I want there to be a wedding.”
6YO: “Noo! There is too much kissing.”
Later on the kids wondered about more names.
6YO: “Who is Elessar?”
Me: “Aragorn.”
6YO: “He has more names?”
8YO: “A hundred?
